I searched the internet for hours last year for the most highly rated hair dryer. This was it. My hair type is ...crazy hair,meaning it is straight -curly- wavy and frizzy, basically "horrible hair" or horror hair. The chi tames it beautifully.
If you go to a popular auction site you can purchase this for less. I have one of these CHI Nanos but dont know which, but it looks like the photo. This thing really heats up and blows hard to get my hair silky smooth and straight in 10 minutes. I use the concentrator attachment. My hair looks better when I do it myself with the Chi than when the pros in the salon do it. When my daughter visits she purposely washes her hair just to borrow it. Luckily it has not died on me and I have not dropped it. I got so tired of buying the Conaire cheap hairdryers that made blow drying a real chore I treated myself to the Chi. I love it.

I really like this blow dryer because it does dry my hair very fast and smooth. The only drawback is that it is kind of noisy and seems to vibrate in my hand. Still glad I got it at a great price.

My salon has told me over and over that my hair dryer is as important as my hair cut. They are right! I am able to blow dry my hair and it almost looks as good as when I leave the salon. It is so light weight that I don't mind all the rolling with my brush to smooth my curly hair. I can't say enough good things about this dryer. This is the brand that my stylist told me to buy. She said it was the most bang for my buck. So true! I would buy again.
